WRGW District Radio
At WRGW District Radio (affiliated with The George Washington University), I interned for WRGW The Time Warp, a show that honed in on influential mid-late 20th century records-- each week playing a different record all the way through and providing history behind each song-- in my Fall 2024 semester. In my Fall 2025 semester, I created and was the sole host of WRGW Living Room Routine, where each week I played soundtracks to iconic period pieces and contextualized the music within the wider scope of the film of discussion. In addition, I have been selected to fulfill the role of WRGW Operations Assistant for my Spring 2026 semester.
Living Room Routine Dec 8th, 2025
For my final episode of Living Room Routine, covering Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), I was fortunate enough to conduct an interview with Chbosky himself.

Message
This campaign is an advertising rollout prior to an interview that aired on WRGW District Radio’s Monday morning show Living Room Routine on December 8th, 2025. It was between myself and the writer/director of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), Stephen Chbosky. As the overarching premise of Living Room Routine covers soundtracks from films dubbed period pieces (which The Perks of Being a Wallflower is), and the title itself is a reference to an iconic scene from the film, this broadcast event served as a finale of sorts.

Audience
My goal was for the content to reach individuals outside of the aforementioned communities, and garner some kind of interest from the general social media audience. For the content to reach more than 500 people was my goalpost, as that would show me that people saw it who were outside of the immediate audience of the radio station and its surrounding communities.
This campaign is geared towards members of the radio station, supporters of the radio station, lovers of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and those interested in journalism.
Measurable Goal

Measurable Goal
For this campaign, I think Instagram would be the most reasonable platform, as it’s hospitable to images and long/short-form content. In addition, most if not all WRGW shows have their own Instagram page affiliation, and so it would be the quickest way to reach people who engage with the station’s content regularly.

Social Media Performance
Below are statistics compiled by the Instagram interface itself of the performance specifically of the reel I made of Chbosky talking about the living room routine scene itself, which my show was named after.
